OBSTACLE TWO Resistance To Follow Direction This obstacle functions in the mind almost like a curse, We know we don't know but we allow the mind to convince us that we know better than the person who has already achieved the result we want to achieve. For example, you want to learn how to drive. You have never driven before, but your mind will convince you that you can do better than the person who has actually been driving and who you actually need to show you what to do. This lower state of consciousness is called arrogance. The mind will even go far to criticize the person giving you the direction. The mind may even want to reinvent the driving system and help you show the instructor that you can do better than what he or she knows. In the meantime you have never driven before.
